Kate Moss: Lasting Finish Lipstick

I'm not normally one to wear lipstick, in fact generally just a slap of vaseline and I'm away! But recently, I've been trying to get out of this boring rut and be a bit more adventurous. I sometimes apply it for parties and the like, but NEVER on an ordinary day due to feeling self concious beyond belief.

So yesterday, I spontaneously purchased this: a Kate Moss Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick in the shade 101. I love the bright packaging. In fact, that's what drew me to it!

It's a pretty light pink, and personally I think it looks a lighter shade on my lips than it does in the tube. But I actually quite like the lightness. :) It applies nicely, and although I've only had it one day, I've worn it all day and I'm quite impressed with how well it stays. I have re-applied it on a few occasions though, as I do like the look of freshly applied lipstick. I'm also a fan of the fruity scent I might add!

It only cost about £5.50 from my local Boots and I think I'll be back in the not too distant future in the search for more lipsticks to add to my rather unimpressive collection!

I'm excited to try this out for the next few days because I'm impressed so far!

A REALLY good face wash.

I'm always on the hunt for a new face wash. And as I have quite sensitive, but sometimes oily skin, it can sometimes be difficult! BUT, I've been using the Clean & Clear Truly Gentle face wash for a good three weeks, and I can honestly say that it's wonderful!

I'm normally quite skeptical when brands claim to be 'gentle' or for 'sensitive skin', as I've had rather a few too many experiences involving the slightest smidgen of product getting in my eyes and it has been extremely, and I mean, EXTREMELY painful. But not so with this!

As a huge fan of water-based cleansing, I use this in the morning and last thing at night after taking off my make up, and it really does what I expect of a simple face wash! It is completely colourless, scent-free, and forms a soapy consistency when massaged into a lather.

So for a couple of pounds, I give this the thumbs up!

My Favourite Accessory.

Okay, so I thought I'd dedicate my first post to without a doubt my favourite type of accessory: watches. I have had my rose gold Michael Kors watch for over 2 years, and I love the versatility of it. At first I was unsure whether it would be deemed acceptable to pair rose gold jewellery with both plain gold and silver jewellery; but 2 years on, I wear my beloved MK watch with almost every outfit and every combination of jewellery under the sun. That's why I love it so much.

I particularly love the chunky, boyfriend style of watches like this. I have a life long aim to, one day, own a Chanel watch similar to my MK one. However, dreaming aside, I think for now, and indeed the future as far as I can see, I'll stick with this one.

Even now, I still get shamelessly flattered every time somebody compliments it.

The most recent addition to my collection is this. A silver, Marc by Marc Jacobs watch that, like my MK one, I wear all the time. In fact, I think I'm so attached to them both that if it were not so extraordinarily uncomfortable, I'd probably wear them in bed. Yes, I am that sad.

On that note, all I need is a gold Chanel number to complete the set. Well, keep dreaming...
